Corner House Beverley |
Tons of great real ales, my favorite is deception which is on all the time. There are hand pull pumps as far as the eye can see (well for half the bar anyway)
A great selection of guest ales which really interests me which is the reason I keep going back again and again, I am not the type of person who wants to sup John Smiths for the rest of my life.
They also do some nice 'rough' ciders which translated means real farm house cider which is flat and not commercialized like say Magners etc. They also serve one of the only lagers I like called Erdinger is also served and they recommend it with a dash of cola in the top (not my bag)
Serving nice pub grub including a 2 4 £10 roast on a Sunday! Cheaper than buying it all and spending the 4 hours of your Sunday cooking and cleaning the pots!
They have recently re-decorated so its looking very smart.
In winter they have the log fire lit and is really cosey, in summer (the one month we get) a really nice beer garden which a great place to enjoy one of their excellent fried breakfast which is great value and is good for a hang over from all the ale the night before.
